Process for Students to Receive Accommodations

The CDA Accommodation Process includes:


Students complete an online intake form and meet with an Accessibility Consultant to discuss accommodation requests.

Students then submit supporting documentation which establishes that a disability exists and what accommodations may be appropriate (Documentation Guidelines).

The Center for Disability & Access reviews student cases to determine what accommodations would be reasonable and approved.

Faculty receive official notice of accommodations from CDA through Umail.  Faculty then login to the CDA Faculty Online Portal to review accommodation memos, acknowledge and implement accommodations.
