Propective Students

The transition from high school to college or from a community college to the university level can be a big adjustment. The Center for Disability Services can offer support and advising in addition to accommodations.

How the Center for Disability Services can help you and your students with the admissions process

a. Meet with student and their family to discuss supports available at the U.

b. Discuss with student, their family, and the guidance counselor how to present disability issues in the application process.

c. Gather documentation that is needed to qualify student for services.

d. Work with the student once they are admitted so that accommodations and services can be in place for the first day of classes!
